What are the requirements to study in Germany?

The requirements to study in Germany as an international student differ from one university to another. Hence it is important to research the exact requirements of a particular university. These requirements may also vary from course to course.

  •   Higher Education Entry Certificate. It can also be a high school diploma, a school leaving certificate, or the result of a university entrance examination.

How to apply?

Depending on which university you would like to study at, applications are usually done online. You will be asked to scan and submit your application via the website www.uni-assist.de.

When the site becomes available for acceptance you must submit all applications immediately. In other cases, this must be submitted 4 to 5 weeks before the deadline.

Usually, it takes about two months to get feedback based on your admission status.

Getting a student visa to Germany?

Depending on the country in which you reside or originate, the method of obtaining a student visa to Germany may differ.
